This area deals with the problems or questions that need to be researched and resolved. This module helps in creating and assigning general as well as project related issues. It includes all the features such as Creating Issues, Assign Issues, Send Issue via Email, Review Issue, Approve Issue, Attach File, Update Status, Issue Status, Etc.

Create General Issue/ Project Related Issue:
Allows users to create general issue as well project related issue.
  • Prioritizing a Task: Allows users to set the priority of the task to one of the following:
  • Low
  • Medium (default)
  • High
  • Critical

    By Default, system sets the task priority to medium. User can change it.

    Automatic Indication to Guardians:
    Provides email indication to the clients about the issue. While creating issue, it gives you the list of associated guardians and automatic email indication will send to these clients. Also, it gives you option to assign users for this issue. You can assign issue to project team members as well as other members.

    Assign User:
    Allows you to assign issue to resource outside the project team as well as resources in the project team.
    You can assign multiple users for issue.
    Allows users to assign users with the following information:
  • Estimated Completion Date.
  • Comments(if any).

    Issue List:
    Allows users to view all the issues associated with them at a centralized place. Users can view list of issues in two views:
  • Summary View:Allows users to view list of issues along with the associated members and their status.
  • Detailed View: Allows users to view list of issues along with the associated members, their work percentage, number of attachments and the recent updated status of the issue.

    Drill down filters for the issue list:
  • Filters:Both allows users to filter the issues based on the following parameters views contain following filters to display data according to user’s suitability:
  • Project:Both views allows users to select the project name.
  • Created By:Both views allows users to select the owner of the task.
  • Assigned To: Both views allows users to select the team member of the task.
  • Status: Both views allows users to select the status such as open, closed, on hold. You can select the owner as well as team member status.
  • Order By: Both views allows users to sort data based on the different options such as Last updated date, Owner, etc.
  • Legends: Provides the description of all icons used on the screen.
  • Need attention: Allows users to view list of associated tasks that need follow-up.
  • Team Table: Displays name and status of team members along with their current work status.
  • Paging: Displays page numbers in case the number of tasks increases. This helps users to view large number of tasks page wise.
  • Link to Task Status Details: Allows users to view the status details of issue from issue list.

    Issue Status History:
    Allows users to view the status history of an issue
  • Update Status: Allows users to update following status of the issue:
  • Assign to resource outside the project team
  • Assign to resource in the project team
  • Assign
  • Close Issue
  • Reopen Issue
  • Put Issue on hold
  • Create custom status
  • Edit Issue Dates
  • Update issue priority to critical
    System keeps track of each status and user can view status details of a issue.
  • Status Details:Displays each status update in a issue along with the date and time.
  • Add on Features:
  • Attach File:Detailed view allows users to attach unlimited files.
  • Send Email: Detailed view allows users to send Email to associated members.
  • Send Issue for Review and Approval: Detailed view allows users to send Issue for Review and Approval to associated members and other functional managers.
  • Easy navigation: Allows navigation using Breadcrumb control (PL), Control Tabs and Links.
  • Security: Ensures only authorized users can access the issues.
